FISHING. - Sir Samuel WILSON. Salmon at the Antipodes… being an Account of the Successful Introduction of Salmon and Trout into Australian Waters. London: Edward Stanford, 1879. Third edition with de-luxe presentation binding, inscribed by the author to 'Lord Houghton' in ink on the half-title, 8vo (183 x 117.) Photographic frontispiece, folding map. (Some spotting to preliminaries and rear leaves.) Original deluxe presentation red morocco with gilt titling to upper cover and silvered vignette of a salmon, g.e. (lightly rubbed to edges, some marks to upper and lower covers). Note: loosely inserted is a 5pp. a.l.s to 'Lord Houghton'. Provenance: Robert Milnes-Crewe (bookplate to the front pastedown); The West Horsley Place Collection.
