A late 20th century lacquered brass cased carriage alarm clock with eight day jewelled movement striking and repeating on a gong, the signed backplate numbered '1781', the dial with silvered chapter ring and black Roman hour numerals framing a rolling moon aperture and inscribed 'Matthew Norman', above subsidiary day, alarm and date dials, the glazed case with swing handle and fluted corner columns, on bun feet, height 19cm (small chip to glazed top panel).
