A group of mainly late 19th century animal related novelty items, including a brass tazza inset with a cast copper dog's face with moving glass eyes, diameter 24cm, a French cast iron pipe rack with bulldog surmount, width 32cm, an ashtray with seated dog surmount and moving tail cutter, a cast brass bookrack with owl ends and a vesta case in the form of a kitten in a shoe. Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
