A late 19th century black patinated and gilt cast brass inkwell, modelled in the form of opposing racing horses and a standing jockey, the hinged lid with horse head surmount, the base in the form of a horseshoe, height 17.5cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
