A 19th century tortoiseshell curved rectangular evening purse, the front piqué inlaid with a shield shaped cartouche within scrolls, length 7.7cm (minor faults), two small turned treen boxes, each with a screw cover, and a group of other items, including a 19th century ivory mounted magnifying glass, a circular powder compact, the mother-of-pearl front carved in relief with a pagoda in a landscape, a square mother-of-pearl mounted powder compact and a pair of opera glasses.
