A pair of Chinese famille verte porcelain octagonal dishes, Kangxi period, each painted with birds, flowers and pine tree within a border of peonies and phoenixes, width 24.4cm (rivet repaired), together with a Chinese blue and white circular dish, from the Japanese Palace Collection of Augustus the Strong, Yongzheng period, the centre painted with bamboo, squirrels climbing fruiting vine and flowers, within a carved low relief floral border, incised and black painted inventory number 'N:488' to base, diameter 39.5cm (repaired).
