A pair of Burmantofts faience vases, 1882-1904, each cylindrical neck incised with vertical motifs flanked by two scroll handles above a globular body, tubelined and incised with opposing crows grasping snakes with their talons, within a surround of Persian style flowers against a terracotta coloured ground, on a circular foot, impressed and painted factory marks and numbered '2062' to bases, height 30.5cm.
