LOT 1559
Two Continental pottery tobacco jars and covers, late 19th century, the first modelled as a naturalistic treestump, the cover with recumbent dog finial, the second of circular shape formed from a ring of begging spaniels, the cover with dog head finial, unmarked, heights 10cm and 10.5cm (minor faults). Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
