A mid-19th century brass pillar skeleton timepiece with eight day spring driven movement, the circular white enamel chapter ring with black Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Wm. Smith Musselburgh, Maker & Inventor', raised on a main column consisting of six smaller columns through which the steel spring passes, on a stepped marble base with glass dome and pendulum, total height 46.5cm.
