A mid/late 19th century ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the circular enamel dial with blue Roman hour numerals and outer black Arabic minutes, the case surmounted with a pair of seated putti holding a bowl of fruiting vines aloft, the shaped base inset with four porcelain panels, painted with Cupids and flowers, raised on disc feet, height 43cm, with pendulum and winding key, flanked by a pair of similar ormolu and porcelain candlesticks, each with Cupid stem standing amidst clouds on a porcelain cylindrical plinth, painted with Cupid within gilt and bleu céleste borders, the base cast with foliate borders, height 32cm.
