LOT 1108
A late 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the porcelain circular dial painted with black Roman numerals reserved against a bleu céleste and gilt banded ground, framing two cherubs in a central circular panel, the fluted drum case raised on scroll supports enclosing porcelain panels, centred with a lion's mask flanked by acanthus festoons, on an inverted breakfront base and toupie feet, height 28cm (lacking pendulum).
