A late 19th century French brass gorge cased carriage alarm clock, the eight day movement with grande sonnerie striking on two gongs, alarm and push repeat, the white enamel dial with black Roman hour numerals and Arabic at five minute intervals, above a subsidiary alarm dial, the gorge case with bevelled glass panels and overhead swing handle, three position setting lever to base inscribed 'Clock', 'Silent' and 'Quarters', height 17.5cm.
