A William IV silver rectangular snuff box with cast foliate borders, the top with engraved presentation inscription 'Presented to Mr Daniel Wright by a few of the proprietors of the Glenalbyn Steam Packet ... 1834', Birmingham 1832 by Nathaniel Mills, length 8.5cm. Note: the 'Glenalbyn' was a passenger and cargo wood paddle steamer built in 1834 by Scott & Sons Greenock and launched in the same year.
