A late Victorian silver and enamel presentation cigarette case of curved rectangular form, modelled as an envelope, the front with black enamelled addressee and 'Bulwell Hall Notts' address, beneath lilac penny stamp and Bullwell Nottingham postmark for December 21st 1882, the reverse with similar postmark for December 22nd and blue initials 'AC', London 1882 by Thornhill & Co and detailed 'Thornhill & Co Ltd 144 New Bond Strt, length 9.8cm (damage to enamel stamp).
