A fine set of twelve late 19th century Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs by Morant & Co, London, the carved and pierced splat backs with serpentine shaped top rails, all finely worked with delicate foliate scrolls, the generous seats upholstered in dark green leather with brass studded borders, raised on blind fretwork block legs with block feet, all bearing maker's stamp to rear leg 'Morant & Co. 91 New Bond St. London', height 97cm, width 59cm, together with a pair of later matched carver chairs, width 64cm.
