A Japanese Imari porcelain vase, Meiji period, the ovoid body painted with opposing panels of red capped crane beneath a pine tree, reserved against a floral ground, height 36cm, together with a Chinese blue and white porcelain plate, late 19th century, painted with flowerheads and scrolling leaf tendrils, diameter 24.5cm (hairline crack to rim).
