A Chinese carved soapstone figure of a seated gentleman, probably 20th century, finely modelled in a seated pose wearing a long robe embellished with turquoise beading, holding an upturned vase in his left hand, the stone of mottled pale green and iron red tone, height 10.5cm (minor repair to hand).
