A Japanese Imari porcelain vase, Meiji period, the shouldered ovoid body painted and gilt with opposing panels, each with a ho-o bird flying above a table and vessels, reserved against a dense floral ground, the shoulder applied in relief with six lion masks, beneath a flared neck, height 74cm (restoration/repair to body and rim).
