An Edward VII gold, diamond, ruby and enamelled brooch in the form of the King's Royal Cypher, designed as a rose cut diamond set crown above a rose cut diamond set initial 'E' and a ruby set number '7' against a blue enamelled ground, within a scroll surround mounted with three circular cut diamonds, length 3.7cm, total diamond weight approx 0.60ct, accompanied by a note detailed 'This gold/ruby/diamond piece of jewellery was given to my Grandmother Lillie Langtry in 1879 by Edward VII (she was his mistress) Mary Malcolm (granddaughter)'.
