RETZSCH, Fredrich August Moritz. Outlines to Shakespeare… First series: Hamlet. Leipzig: Ernest Fleischer, London: sold by Treuttel & Wuertz, 1828. First edition, large 4to (349 x 252mm.) Frontispiece, 16 plates, parallel texts in German, English and French. (Some spotting to preliminaries and to plate margins.) Original cloth with mounted illustration to upper cover (rubbing and fraying to spine extremities.) Provenance: Hale of Alderley (bookplate to the verso of the frontispiece).
