Bartlett [translated from the English.] London: George Virtue, 1838. Large 4to (273 x 207mm.) Engraved frontispiece of author with tissue-guard, bound with the title in English, 79 steel engraved plates, most with tissue-guards (some spotting to front and verso of every plate.) Contemporary red straight-grain morocco-backed paper-covered boards, elaborate foliate gilt design to the spine (bumped to extremities, some rubbing to lower cover).
