HARVIE-BROWN, J.A., and T.E. BUCKLEY. A Vertebrate Fauna of Sutherland, Caithness, and West Cromarty. Edinburgh: David Douglas, [n.d. but 1887]. First edition, 8vo (228 x 155mm.) Decorative title by John G. Millais with tissue-guard, numerous plates (2 colour), 2 folding panoramas, folding colour map at rear. (Spotting to first and last few leaves and the two panoramas, some browning.) Contemporary half-morocco, the spine in six compartments with raised bands lettered in gilt to the second and third (spine slightly faded and with a few scuffs). Provenance: 'Old Linkfield, Redhill' blindstamped to front-free endpaper.
