LOT 1159
An early 19th century Empire ormolu, brown patinated bronze and white marble portico mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the sunburst pendulum with silk suspension, the white enamel circular dial with black Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Blanc Fils Palais CY. D.V.1 Royal', the drum case with ormolu eagle surmount flanked by flower festoons and a pair of bronze putti, each seated atop a caryatid column, the breakfront base inset with an ormolu panel depicting putti, on disc feet, height 57cm, with pendulum and winding key.
