LOT 1098
A late 19th century French gilt metal and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate with stamped 'Hy.Marc.Paris' maker's mark, the painted porcelain circular dial with black Roman numerals against a bleu céleste ground, the case surmounted with a satyr bust, flanked by a pair of seated maidens with flower festoons, above foliate scrolls, rams' masks and two porcelain panels, height 34cm, with key, pendulum and giltwood stand.
