A Napoleon III kingwood and floral marquetry inlaid meuble d'appui, the top, sides and front with floral sprays and scrolls and applied with cast gilt ormolu mounts, the shaped frieze above a pair of panelled doors inset with two bronzed tondo plaques, after Clodion, each cast in relief with fauna and infant satyr, raised on a scrolled shaped apron and cabriole feet, height 101cm, width 131cm, depth 45cm (one matched sabot).
