LOT 1555
A stoneware novelty teapot and cover, mid/late 19th century, possibly Bailey & Co of Fulham, modelled as an Oriental boy grasping a grotesque mask forming the spout, the boy's head forming the cover, incised 'B' to cover interior, height 13.4cm (minor faults). Note: the potter has obviously taken inspiration from the similar Minton example, which was produced in majolica.
