A Meissen porcelain cylindrical jar and cover, 19th century, probably outside factory decorated, painted with chinoiserie figures above gilt detail, flanked by floral sprays beneath a gilt border, the cover with rose knop, indistinct underglaze blue crossed swords mark to base, height 9cm (small chip to finial, firing crack to base).
