LOT 1405
A good cylinder-knopped stem wine glass, circa 1720, the flared conical bowl with solid base, on a flattened knop and merese over a teared and slightly tapered cylinder with basal knop below, above a folded domed foot, height 14.6cm (small chip to rim). Note: similar examples were sold at Bonhams as part of the Ron and Mary Thomas Collection, 4th June 2008, Lot 15, and the James Hall Collection, 17th December 2008, Lot 38.
