A Japanese iron tetsubin (tea kettle), Meiji period, the compressed circular body cast in relief with Chinese archaistic motifs including taotie and lappets, framing three character mark beneath handle and cast seal mark to base, with overhead swing handle, the bronze cover with ovoid finial and signature to underside, total height 21cm.
