Two Chinese blue and white porcelain plates, Kangxi period, each painted with a central panel of pheasant, rocks and flowers, within a rim of flowerheads and scrolling leafy tendrils, underglaze blue pseudo seal mark to base, diameter 21.5cm (minor rim fritting), together with a similarly decorated Japanese Kakiemon style blue and white porcelain dish, circa 1700, diameter 22cm.
