A Chinese hardwood writing desk with carved blossoming prunus decoration, late 19th century, the three quarter gallery carved and pierced with dragons amidst clouds, the back with a pair of cupboard doors flanking shelves, the panelled writing surface above three frieze drawers, supported by a single four-drawer pedestal and a pair of dragon carved cabriole legs terminating in claw and ball feet, width 93cm, depth 57.5cm.
