A Chinese famille rose porcelain dish, mark of Tongzhi and of the period, of ingot form, the exterior painted with a continuous figural scene of a seated ruler, standing soldier attendants and Li Tieguai watching as further figures and a boat approach the shoreline, the interior turquoise glazed, iron red enamelled seal mark to base, length 21.4cm, height 9.8cm, with carved and pierced hardwood stand.
