A George V Elkington & Co silver canteen of cutlery, comprising twenty-four mother-of-pearl handled dessert knives and forks, twenty-three oyster forks, nutcrackers, grape scissors, two butter knives, twenty-four fish knives and forks, two sugar sifter spoons, four knife rests, twenty-four ice spoons, sixteen asparagus eaters, eight egg spoons, four salt spoons, two mustard spoons, four serving spoons, twenty-three dessert forks, twenty-four dessert spoons, twenty-four teaspoons, twenty-four coffee spoons, forty-eight table forks, twenty-four tablespoons, two pairs of salad servers, asparagus tongs, two soup ladles, sugar tongs, four vegetable serving spoons, three sauce ladles, pair of fish servers and a crumb scoop, Birmingham 1913 and 1914 by Elkington & Co, together with twenty-two large and twenty-four smaller steel bladed and bone handled table knives, twenty-four matching dessert knives, three carving knives, fork and steel, all contained within an Elkington & Co mahogany six drawer canteen chest with hinge lid, the stand with cabriole legs, total height 106cm.
