A Minton porcelain plate, circa 1872, painted with a young boy climbing a ladder resting against a wall, to meet a young girl for a kiss, both wearing 18th century costume, within a Japanese fan shaped panel picked out in gilt, against a turquoise ground painted with white heather, impressed factory mark and date cypher to base, diameter 24.3cm, together with a pair of Mintons porcelain plates, early 20th century, each decorated with oval floral vignettes within gilt beaded borders against a turquoise ground, puce factory mark and painted 'H549' to bases, diameter 23.5cm.
