LOT 1115
A George III figured mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the 12-inch brass break arch dial with silvered strike/silent indicator to arch above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, the foliate engraved centre with subsidiary seconds, date aperture and arched plaque inscribed 'William Rich, London', all cornered by cast and pierced gilt scroll spandrels, the hood with moulded arch pediment surmounted with two brass finials above a glazed door flanked by brass stop-fluted columns, the trunk with arched door above a panelled base and bracket feet, height 220cm, with pendulum, two brass cased weights and winding key (some faults).
