A Chinese Canton export lacquer folding fan, mid-19th century, the guards and sixteen sticks decorated in gilt with bat and flower pendants and foliate bands, the paper panel painted with a continuous scene of a dignitary and attendants in a pavilion setting, length 30.5cm, within a glazed display case.
