A Chinese archaistic jade bixie-form water dropper, probably 20th century, the stone of pale celadon tone, the mythical beast modelled in a powerful crouching pose, carved in relief with a pair of horns and bifurcated tail, its back with stylized tufts of hair framing an aperture leading into the hollowed body, the mouth with drilled hole, length 10.5cm.
