A Charles II silver medal, 1660, commemorating the landing of King Charles II at Dover, by John Roettiers, the obverse with the bust of King Charles II within a laurel wreath and detailed 'Carolus II DG Magn Britann Franc et Hibern Rex' above 'Deum providentia atq misericordia vivo' and 'Anno reseratae salutis 1660 Die 29 Maii', the reverse with Britannia, Hibernia and Scotia waiting on shore for the approaching ship's arrival, offering three crowns on a cushion, watched by the Eye of Providence above, the border detailed 'Si Deus est custos quis meus hostis erit', diameter 5.7cm.
