BINDINGS. - Laurence STERNE. The Works. London: 1780. 10 vols., 8vo (177 x 109mm.) 10 engraved plates by Hogarth and others, 'marbled leaf' incorrectly bound in vol. I. (Light spotting and browning.) Contemporary calf, spines gilt, (extremities slightly rubbed, some joints splitting). Provenance: William Putland (armorial bookplates). - And twenty-two others, all leather-bound (32).
