LOT 1103
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany longcase clock with eight day three train movement chiming and striking on eight bells and five gongs, the brass break arch dial with silvered chime/silent indicator to the arch above a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and outer Arabic minutes, framing a matt centre with silvered subsidiary seconds dial, all cornered by cast and pierced gilt winged cherub mask and foliate scroll spandrels, the hood with swan neck pediment and three brass ball finials, above inlaid foliate scrolls, glazed door and gilt brass Corinthian columns, the trunk arch door inlaid with ribbon tied festoons and foliate panels, on a similarly inlaid base and bracket feet, height 235cm, with pendulum and three weights.
