A late 19th century French gilt metal mounted red stained tortoiseshell and brass boulle work mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the embossed gilt brass circular dial inset with enamel hour plaques with black Roman numerals, the balloon shaped case with gilt metal rococo scroll mounts, fret panels and glazed lenticle, height 42cm, together with pendulum and key.
