Rowan - Study of the Short-Mayo Composite in Flight, Mercury and Maia having just separated, 20th century watercolour, signed, 48cm x 37.5cm, within an ebonized frame, a Victory jig-saw puzzle of the Imperial Airways Short-Mayo Composite, a tinted photograph depicting Major R.H. Mayo's daughter Jennifer playing with the jig-saw puzzle, a boxfile containing a quantity of black and white photographs of the Short-Mayo Composite, six flicker books, reports etc. Provenance: from the estate of the late Major Robert Hobart Mayo, O.B.E., M.A. (Cantab), Assoc.M.Inst.C.E., F.R.Ae.S., M.Inst.T.
