A late Victorian gold backed and silver fronted ruby and diamond brooch, formed as two clusters enclosed by foliate sprays, each cluster claw set with an oval cut ruby within a surround of cushion shaped diamonds, otherwise set with rose cut diamonds to the foliate sprays, width 3.5cm, total ruby weight approx 0.90ct, total diamond weight approx 0.80ct.
