A Chinese porcelain hu-shaped vase, mark of Qianlong but probably late Republic period, the body painted in iron red, grey, black and gilt with a scene of Shoulao, four attendant boys, maiden and deer opposing lines of black text and three red and gilt seals, all within elaborate foliate borders, iron red and gilt four character pseudo seal mark to base, height 36cm (chip to rim).
