A Chinese dated Ming dynasty bronze ceremonial jue vessel, four character Chenghua mark and cyclical date of 1466, of typical form with cast mask and tongue handle to one side, trellis band and bladed tripod legs, the front panel cast with four character mark of Chenghua and date corresponding to 1466 (Bing Xu), height 17cm (one finial missing and split to rim).
