A mid-18th century Bradford, Darby & Hulls brass hydrostatic steelyard, the rectangular beam with sliding weight marked 'Bradford, Darby & Hulls, by the Kings Patent' (part lacking), within a pressed papier-mâché case, total length 21.7cm, a shagreen mounted cylindrical three-section case, fitted with a magnifier, and a steel and brass dixieme gauge.
