A pair of 40 bore percussion target pistols by Pottet à Paris with sighted swamped twist barrels with microgroove rifling, length 20.5cm, signed floral and border engraved locks, set triggers with capstan adjustment, half-stocked with chequered butts and shell carved fore ends, engraved steel mounts including bat's wing sideplates and spurred trigger guards, contained in a made-up close-fitted green baize lined case with a 48 bore pincer mould, a copper pistol flask and a turnscrew.
