A George V 1887 pattern heavy cavalry sword with slightly curved single edged blade, length 91.5cm, nickel plated honeysuckle hilt (plating lifting), wire bound fishskin covered grip with leather knot, in its leather covered field service scabbard with frog. Provenance: from the estate of the late Alistair Morris.
