A George III mahogany bracket alarm clock, the brass five pillar eight day twin fusee movement with verge escapement, striking on a bell via an outside countwheel with pull repeat mechanism, the brass backplate engraved 'Diego Evans, Bolsa Real, Londres' the painted break arch dial with tocar/silencio indicator to arch above black Roman numerals, subsidiary date dial, alarm dial and inscribed 'Diego Evans, Bolsa Real, Londres', the case with gilt brass mounts and finials, flanked by a pair of arched pierced scale fret panels on a plinth base and bracket feet, height 56cm, with case keys (some faults and alterations).
