BIBLE, In English. The Bible in Miniature, or a Concise History of the Old & New Testaments. London: printed for E. Newbery, 1780. 16mo (43 x 26mm.) 2 engraved titles, 14 engraved plates. (Some browning and soiling, occasional light spotting.) Contemporary red morocco tooled in gilt, covers with gilt lettering pieces and floral scrolled decoration in gilt, g.e. (extremities lightly bumped, leather rubbed with associated loss of gilt). Provenance: Eastwood (two indistinct inscriptions to preliminary blanks).
